The Do's and Don'ts of Nutrition
Ok, you read about Joseph and the Dead Bodies – so you are doing your water. Your lymph system is less like
an old dried up sponge and starting to protect you, enhancing your immune system.

And you are walking – aiming for 10,000 steps, perhaps having ordered your Mio Pedometer to keep track of
your exercise.

So now what? Ok while doing these great things – STOP putting bad stuff in. Ok but what stuff? This is harder,
and why it is #3 – you are feeling better having done #1 & 2 – now comes the work – reading labels being
aware.

Here we go-

    1. Sugar – Any parent who has seen their kids on Halloween has seen the very scary climb the walls,
run across the ceiling things that happen after kids are “sugared up.” Really and truly, it is horrible stuff
with no nutrient value. And no, not just taken in moderation. Just say NO. And that goes for high fructose
corn syrup – in spite of the ads they now have the nerve to run. That is also Horrible stuff – read the
labels – it’s cheap stuff they put in everything. Don’t eat any of it – NONE – your body will thank you.

    2. White flour – You know this stuff -” enriched” – I love this – they take out all the parts that have
nutrient value so it wouldn’t spoil and then they have the nerve to call it “enriched.” My godfather used
to tell my mother of course it has shelf life – nothing can grow on it so no bugs want it! If the bugs won’t
grow on it, neither will these children! So that is anything made for this kind of swill – be it bread, pasta,
cookies, cake – you get the picture. You can have things made of sprouted grains, ok?

    3. Preservatives – Read the labels – these are definitely not good for your body.

    4. Dyes – Honestly is this nuts? Why would you dye a food – if it doesn’t look right heck I don’t want to
eat it. There are other problems with dyes, and for a great deal of data see Feingold – now there was
    one brilliant doc.

    5. Blood Type - For what might be good for someone else but not you I recommend finding out what
your blood type is and reading the book, Eat Right For Your Type (blood type). Especially if you have
eaten something”everyone” recommends and felt bad afterwards. Not all bodies are the same, there is
no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition.

Ok – now you are well into this wonderful trip of running YOUR body and honing in on what works the best for
you. And what a grand journey it is!

Stay tuned!
