Pedometer
Ok, so we have #1 really “in” – weighed and measured – water intake excellent.

What’s #2?

Move! These bodies are made to move. I was amazed living in the Congo to see how the people lived there –
an interesting example of what bodies can do!

A woman walking barefoot for 50 miles while carrying over sixty-five pounds on her back. This lady was shorter
than me, so I was impressed. I’m not necessarily suggesting that you do THAT but really, we all would take our
dog for a walk daily – if we had one. But who will do it for their own body.

There is a magic – if you will get that body up out of bed EVERY DAY for only 2 weeks. Then voila! – magic the
body will pull you out of bed after that – it wants to move!! Certainly worth the investment.

Many of you know I was mentored by the famous Dr. Major DeJarnette, Chiropractor and Osteopath, one of
the most brilliant men of the last century. He said walk – the body does a lot of adjusting itself walking – so
WALK!

No time? Get up an hour earlier and walk. The dividend is that you get that time back as more energy. Too
hot? Most malls have Mall Walkers – and even if there is no formal set up – well, honestly go any time a mall is
open and walk! A big open cool area – super – and merchants will think you are browsing, so they love the
traffic.

How much? From time to time the fad from the Japanese comes through again – 10,000 steps. That is a nice
amount for which to aim. And now there is a neat gizmo that measures better than a old fashion pedometer
and it is a mio–blah blah blah- I’ll have this data soon.

To your health!
